SCHOOL MEALS UPDATE
We are pleased that the uptake of hot school meals is
continuing to increase and children seem to be enjoying them.
Although the water fountain is available at breaktimes, those
children who bring a packed lunch need to make sure that they
bring an extra drink with their lunch, particularly during the
warm weather.
INSTRUMENT LESSONS
There are currently a few vacancies for children in Year 3
and above who would like to learn to play either violin or
French horn in September. If you are interested please contact
Mrs Mills in the school office for further details, cost and
instrument hire.
WELCOME MEETINGS
Following the recent success of the Welcome to
Foundation Stage meetings for parents, there will be an
opportunity for those parents whose children are joining a new
Key Stage to meet the staff teams and to learn more about the
curriculum and organisation.
For parents of children joining Key Stage 1 (Year 1) the meeting
will be held on Monday 21st July at 6 – 7pm (please note
change of date).
For parents of children joining Key Stage 2 (Year 3) the meeting
will be held on Tuesday 8th July at 6 – 7pm. Please complete
and return the slip below to confirm your attendance.
There will be a separate meeting for those parents whose
children will be in Year 6 in September, giving information
about SATs. The provisional date for this meeting will be
Thursday 25th September at 6pm.
